The Acorn Cup is a 3 v 3 tournament held on New Years Eve day for teams

Here are the basics:

• Who? Langford Park Hockey and the Community, Friends, and Family that support LPH
• What? A fun, festive day of skating with bon fires, skate sharpening, maybe s'mores, maybe hotdogs, maybe just skating
• What else? A 3v3 hockey tournament - open to any an all (but limited to 8 teams per division)
• When? December 31st from 12 to 4.
• Why? Because being a hockey parent can be a drag if you're just carting your kids to and from Oscar Johnson - why not embrace the community element, and partake in some family fun and celebrate our unique program
• What do I need to do: Come skate on the 31st.

• $20/team - goes to LPH program
• 3v3 tournament - just pickup hockey, no goalies
• Open to anyone
• 20 minute games on half rinks or little rink (2, 10 minute halves)
• Teams of 3-4 players in three age divisions - 8U, 12U, Teen/Adult
• Win or go home (stick around and skate)
